Here are some tips for FST-7 tricep dips:
Adjust the handles to accommodate the width of your body. If you have a wide frame then setting the inside grip could be too close and compromise the shoulder. Range of motion should be from lower pec all the way down, but just short of locking out.
The key to FST-7 tricep dips is constant tension on the triceps.
Variation: to target the outer head position the elbows out and away from the body. Keep the elbows close for the inner head. Use moderate weight to isolate the triceps and avoid recruiting too much deltoid.
